The cosmos is an endless source of inspiration for Karel Laenen. With his colored pencils and boundless imagination, he draws a new universe filled with color. His self-designed spaceships transport us from planet to planet to discover the unknown fauna and flora, but also the local population and their eating habits are extensively covered. For Laenen the drawings depict entire stories of fictional nations.
