Dirk Vandecruys made small, organic drawings full of color and symbolism. Each image captured Vandecruys’s mind and thoughts at the moment he made them. Despite their recognizable imagery, they are unique pieces with different meanings and variations in shape and color. Together they create a kind of visual diary that can be deciphered based on the dates. Nonetheless, his drawings will never reveal all of their secrets.
