Bart Janssen is a skilled draftsman whose often humorous and ambiguous work never fails to touch viewers. Through an associative approach, he combines his interests with insightful reflections, resulting in intriguing images that hold up both formally and thematically. Ever since he was a little boy, Bart was always drawing. He used to draw small comics on strokes of wallpaper, making up his own characters and stories. At kunsthuis Yellow Art he still combines his first passion drawing with his collage-making.
