Eva Nauwelaerts works in series. With vibrant colors and patterns, she explores the same subject ? ranging from plants, flowers, animals to self-portraits and landscapes ? in different ways. She prefers working with pastels and water colors. Her work is characterized by a pure line, formal simplification and a distinct color combination. For Eva this series of portraits (that are on display in this exhibition) are about self-awareness, about the connection between body and mind.
